A little about us. My wife and I are a couple of outdoor enthusiasts who like taking pictures and displaying the memories we create throughout our home. Our favorite subjects are of amazing landscapes (preferably with waterfalls), incredible wildlife and of course our dogs.
We are addicted to the National Parks. My wife and I actually met at the top of Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park, and we were married in the chapel in Yosemite. We have been on the best hike of our lives ever since.
We are also serial entrepreneurs and love the challenges associated with creating a business from the ground up starting with little more than a belief that we can do something better. This entrepreneurial spirit is what has led us to create Epic Jpeg. We know how much the memories we create via the photos from our adventures mean to us, and how they make us feel when we see them displayed. The memories of the people we have met or the sights, sounds, smells and feelings associated with those brief moments in time that we will carry with us forever. It’s the bear by the lake, the wedding, the baby, the graduation or engagement. It’s the perfect sunset at the beach or sunrise over the mountain. It’s the fond memories of a loved one lost that come flooding back when you see that one special picture. That one Epic Jpeg that you can’t forget and have to show everyone.
By the way, the photo attached to this page is one of our Epic Jpeg’s. This is my wife and our son summitting Clouds rest in Yosemite after one of the toughest years of our lives. My wife fought her way through a battle with cancer and a stem cell transplant, and our son had just returned home from a deployment in Afghanistan with the U.S. Air Force.
